Special release celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the Polish underground Black Metal project Goat Thron, originally formed in 1999 by Funeral and Dagon. Following the tragic death of Dagon, Goat Thron continued as the solo manifestation of Funeral, who recorded a series of demo tapes between 2000 and 2001. The material presented here compiles those early recordings, delivering over 55 minutes of raw and primitive Black Metal steeped in satanic ideology, blasphemy and uncompromising underground spirit. Built upon chaotic guitar work, harsh vocals and eerie keyboard elements, the music captures the spontaneous and unpolished atmosphere of the old raw Black Metal era. Additional contributions from members of projects such as Mróz further reinforce the obscure underground character of the release. A fierce document of early Polish raw Black Metal, filled with radical spirit and primitive darkness.
