Reissue 2022 of the second album originally released in 1998. While "Hammer of Gods" was a good start in their career, "Exterminate" would... well, exterminate that album to oblivion. The guitar riffs have noticeably taken slightly less influences from Morbid Angel and instead have taken more influences from war metal bands like Abominator and Blasphemy to a certain extent, and Angelcorpse execute the more pompous and vast atmosphere well. Pete Helmkamp's vocals have also improved greatly, and the new war themes only make this album feel even more devastating. If you're looking for a Blackened Death Metal album that doesn't hold back in its intensity, "Exterminate" is an album you have to listen to. Killer stuff!
