Review of Fruset Rike "Ur Millenniernas Dunkel" - Kynodontas zine #2
Review of our latest release Fruset Rike "Ur Millenniernas Dunkel", included on Kynodontas zine #2 (Spanish written).
(English translation) Damn!! What a great work from this Swedish! It doesn't sound like Norwegian Black Metal, it sounds as if it was born in those glorious years. 11 whipping flat out songs, that feel like ice pieces are tearing your skin off. And it's riddle with lethal melodies but no exempted with violence and at the same time it has a special halo in it, which remains me to my idolized Arckanum. Been previously familiarized with band, it has been a pleasure to be able to enjoy some of their tracks again, like the one that wears the name of the band and it's just bloody awesome!! Closing this full-length and also giving the name to the album it's another catchy song that will stay in your head for its insane riff of guitar. But it's not the only one, "Mylingens Stämma" is another great tune, more calm than the rest but full of the mystery that a dark night can bring. The CD comes in an impressive and powerful 6-panels digipak format and even though it doesn't have the lyrics, it's not gonna bother you since they sing in their mother tongue and you are not going to understand a thing. Even so and overall, it is so pleasant to look at a splendid work with a cover at the height of the rest of the album.
